Sustainable , refillable packaging has been on my mind for awhile. I have struggled to find solutions that protect the integrity of the product and do not introduce bacteria and germs. I am testing a plan with the assistance of my home store Tuttle's Hallmark. We are starting off with Body Lotions. It will work kind of like old school milk delivery. Your initial purchase will include a glass jar with pump filled with your favorite lotion. When you are ready for a refill, you will simply place your order for the refill (it will come in a fresh jar) and when you pick up your order, you will also drop off your container to be properly disinfected and cleaned to be re used. You will only be charged the starter price the first time. Refills will be $11.00.
